Giving up flour without giving up dessert

There are a lot of great reasons to give up flour. So many, in fact, that if I was just simply to list them it would take up this entire blog. Wheat has been found to be a leading cause for many in weight gain, high blood sugar levels and intestinal problems. A new favourite!  We'll have some at Sunday's marke...

Sugar-free Cakes?

We've had a lot of requests recently for sugar free and no added sugar cakes, so we have been testing out recipes.  Our most popular cake so far is the Bitter Chocolate cake.  This is an amazing cake which we make with dates and beetroot which gives an earthy slight sweetness to it, but enables us to remove flour and dairy making the cake also dairy and gluten free. The partnership of beetroot and chocolate is also heavenly!  If you like very dark cho...
